Striking a subtle balance between simplicity and sophistication, the ‘Legacy’ symbolizes OFS’s commitment to innovative furniture and solid customer relationships. In essence, in its purest conceptual component, the ‘Legacy’ is a giant hug. A firm, but comfortable, cushion, delicately embraced by paralleled wood arms, which in turn, appear to be squeezed in place by a slightly more substantial wood back. A small ribbon of contrasting wood enfolds the chair back and arms and continues along the chair front, cleverly masquerading as a corresponding welt. Tapered legs slightly set back make an otherwise substantial piece feel as if it is floating.
Sustainable forested wood cleanly wrapping its way around a wide comfortable cushion offers an effortless personification of the OFS values as a piece of furniture, giving the ‘Legacy’ a timeless quality that is subtle enough to be used in a private office but has the presence to make a statement in the grandest of lobbies. |
